Article 1 General terms
The stated general conditions of sale apply to orders placed by clients through this website concerning the products proposed through the following addresses :

To fill out an order form and send in a cheque for the total amount means to fully accept the general terms of sale applicable to the following contract.
Fabrice Gillotte SARL Au Parrain Genereux reserves the right to withdraw the order if the client has neglected one of the obligations of the contract, or in general to refuse any order that appears abnormal for whatever reason.
The order is only definite if a confirmation from Fabrice Gillotte is received by e-mail.
Article 2 Presentation and composition of products
Neither the packaging nor the assortment of products proposed on the web site can be modified in their presentation or composition. Fabrice Gillotte confections are artisanally produced; should an item be missing from the list of assorted chocolates, the shop can not be held responsible.
Article 3 Obligations of the client
The client is obliged to precisely fill out the information on order form marked with an asterisk. The orders are solely personnel or else destined for a designated party. Resale of our products is strictly prohibited.
Article 4 Price and payment
The prices quoted in Euros include the VAT tax. Postage fees are additional and vary according to weight and destination. For France, these are automatically calculated on the order form, however for other countries, please consult us.
We exclude mailings to hot countries due to the delicacy of the products.

From 250 gr to 750 gr : 10 euros
From 800 gr to 1.5 kg : 13 euros
From 1.6 kg to 10 kilos : 15 euros

Article 5 Sending and deadlines
As soon as payment is received, the order is sent within 3 to 4 days. Note that merchandise is only mailed out Monday through Thursday by colissimo service within France. For mailings to other countries, please consult us. We do not send out orders to hot countries due to the extreme delicacy of the products.
Because Au Parrain Genereux produces artisanal confections, delivery deadlines tend to take longer during holiday periods, especially in December.
It is imperative that you place your orders for the end of the year holidays before the following dates:
Christmas orders - before December 15
New Years orders - before December 25
Article 6 Complaints
Once the orders enter the delivery stage, neither Au Parrain Genereux, nor Fabrice Gillotte can be held responsible for either delays or damages to the goods:
- In case the receiver is absent when the merchandise is delivered.
- In case of late delivery due to holidays or to any mailing or transport reasons which are beyond our control.
- In case of extreme circumstances which may in any way obstruct the application of the general conditions of sale.
Merchandise becomes the property of the receiver once the order form has been filled out and sent in with a cheque. The receiver should be certain of the terms of delivery. In case of spoiled or missing goods, he must take every necessary step to file a complaint with the mailing or transportation service and send a registered letter with receipt within 48 hours after reception of the merchandise.
Article 7 Replacement and reimbursement
No complaint regarding the taste, freshness or presentation of the items will be acknowledged.
No return, replacement or reimbursement is accepted.
Article 8 Confidentiality
According to articles 26 and 27 of the Computers and civil liberties
law 78-17 of January 6, 1978, any information requested about the client is strictly for Au Parrain Genereux. The client reserves the right to access all information concerning himself at any time and to modify it in case of changes to be made or errors to be corrected.
Article 9 Rights
The present general conditions of sale constitute the full rights and obligations between the parties. Only the court of Dijon is competent to rule on litigations or differences that my arise if an agreement can not be reached.
